Summer Reading, Summer Weather

I've been trying to read more of Mildred Kalish's "Little Heathens," but keep getting distracted.
The weather outside was really nice on Monday, so my daughter and I took a hike at Mendon Ponds with our dogs. That's a photo of her with her dogs, Libby & Rory.

I've also been planting flowers, cleaning, and organizing stuff for next year. Yesterday I had to take my car in for new tires, and got caught walking home in the rain.

Monday, the shop where I work caught some intruders. A family of raccoons had broken into the shop, and made a nest. They look cute, but they can really do some damage.

But now that the weather is going to be rainy for the next few days, I plan on getting back to the books. I'm going to our camp in the Adirondacks tomorrow for the 4th of July, so I'm sure I'll be doing a lot of reading. That is, unless the weather is too nice.

I'd like to know how your summer reading is going. Leave a comment and let me know.
